Wear and Care
For Machine Washable Shoes:
- Remove the insole of closed shoes. On sandals that step is not necessary.
- Put them in a wash bag and place it in the washing machine.
- Use a gentle detergent.
- Wash on ‘delicate cycle’ using cold water (do not use hot water - it can change the color and form of your shoes).
- Air dry (do not place them in a dryer – as this can alter the appearance of your shoes).
- Insert the insoles and enjoy your clean kicks!
For Non-Machine Washable Shoes:
- Sprinkle the upper surface with water, lightly brush it with a soft-bristled brush or toothbrush. Avoid applying too much pressure as it might damage the upper fibers.
- For a deeper cleaning in certain spots, you can add alcohol to a soft cloth and gently wipe down the area. A alternative option would be to use a cleaner designed for fabrics if is necessary to clean the stubborn spot of your shoes.
- On non-machine washable shoes please avoid soaking your shoes entirely in water - it will damage the insole beyond repair.
- Once dry, store your shoes and keeping them in a dry environment. They will last longer.
- If your shoes get wet, stuff them with paper overnight and let them dry naturally. We recommended to insert shoe forms to keep the shape.
Cleaning of Waterproof Shoes:
- On normal wear occasions: Use a soft brush to gently wipe the vamp to remove dirt.
- Cleaning Stains: Using a mild detergent solution and a soft-bristled brush. Gently brush the stain area increasing pressure as necessary.
- Cleaning Outsoles: Using a hard brush, scrub the outsole with cleaning foam.
- Cleaning Shoelaces: Remove the shoelaces and wash separately.
- Use a cloth to dry the surface of the shoes and air dry.
- Once dry, store your shoes and keeping them in a dry environment. They will last longer.
