The materials used in our footwear are all ethically-sourced, sustainable, and environmentally friendly. These materials include a recycled plastic knit upper, recycled rubber outsoles, and even 100% recycled paper packaging. Zherys offers a wide variety of footwear, too, including sandals designed to keep you comfortable in the summertime and even warm, fuzzy slippers for those cold winter mornings. Are We Plastic Free and Carbon Neutral?

While we would love to say that we are 100% plastic free, the truth is that plastic is a part of life, and it is here to stay. It is our goal to practice circularity in the plastic we consume, so we utilize recycled plastic that might otherwise end up on a beach or in a landfill for hundreds of years in our products. Rather than striving for carbon neutrality, which is virtually impossible when it comes to manufacturing shoes, we work hard to minimize our carbon footprint by sourcing our raw materials in locations that are close to our production facilities. This means less shipping, which drastically reduces the need to ship materials long distances, thereby reducing carbon emissions significantly.

We Care about Our Supply Chain

When we source our raw materials, not just any vendor will do. We look for vendors that treat their employees fairly by paying them a living wage and providing them with the benefits they need to live a happy and successful life. This simply means that through each step of our supply chain, we are focused on the wellbeing of the people who make our products possible. Each vendor providing materials for our manufacturing facilities must also show that they source the raw materials in a sustainable and ethical manner. We are constantly evaluating our vendors in order to continue to provide the most eco-friendly footwear products possible.
